By accessing or using Spotlr, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not use our service.
Service Description
Spotlr is a location and object tracking application that allows you to:
- Save and organize locations with GPS coordinates
- Add photos, notes, and categories to your spots
- Set time and location-based reminders
- Share spots with others
- Use AI-powered features for spot creation and insights
User Accounts
Account Creation: You must create an account to use Spotlr. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
Account Security: You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
Age Requirement (18+ ONLY): You must be at least 18 years old to use Spotlr. This is an adult-only service. By creating an account, you confirm that you are 18 years of age or older. Users under 18 are strictly prohibited from using this service.
Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to:
- Use the service for any illegal purpose
- Violate any laws or regulations
- Infringe on others' intellectual property rights
- Upload malicious code or viruses
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Use the service to harass, stalk, or harm others
- Share inappropriate or offensive content
- Reverse engineer or copy any part of the service
Content Moderation & Community Guidelines
Prohibited Content: Users must not share, upload, or distribute content that contains:
- Nudity or sexually explicit material
- Graphic violence or gore
- Harassment, bullying, or hate speech
- Spam or misleading information
- Threats or promotion of dangerous activities
- Content that violates others' privacy or rights
Reporting & Blocking: You can report inappropriate content or block users at any time. All reports are reviewed by our moderation team. False reports may result in action against your account.
Enforcement: We reserve the right to remove content, suspend or terminate accounts that violate these guidelines without prior notice. Repeat violations may result in permanent account termination.
Appeal Process: If your content was removed or account was suspended, you may contact support@dexaminds.com to appeal the decision.
Subscription and Payment
Free Tier: Spotlr offers a free tier with limited features.
Pro Subscription: Premium features are available through a paid monthly subscription. Pricing is determined by your region and displayed in the app and your device's app store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store). Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled.
Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. You will retain Pro features until the end of your billing period.
Refunds: Refunds are handled according to the policies of your payment provider (Apple App Store or Google Play Store).
Content Ownership
Your Content: You retain all rights to the content you upload (photos, notes, etc.). By using Spotlr, you grant us a license to store and process your content to provide the service.
Our Content: Spotlr and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.
Location Data
Spotlr requires access to your device's location services to function properly. Location data is only collected when you explicitly save a spot or use location-based features. You can control location permissions in your device settings.
Disclaimer of Warranties
Spotlr is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. Location accuracy may vary based on device capabilities and environmental factors.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Spotlr shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the service.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Spotlr from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service or violation of these terms.
Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service will cease immediately.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms of Service in the app. Your continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
